Home AMID selected as policy consultant in Seventh IRANPLAST International Exhibition Participation in policy-making process and designing development packages for industrial and technological exhibitions is one of the important missions of AMID Development Group which is based on content navigation and developing exhibition capacities in the field of industry and technology as a national development strategy.In this context, since last January AMID began to develop strategic plan for the Seventh International IRANPLAST Exhibition as one of the largest and most prestigious events in Iranian plastics industry and one of the important trends in downstream petrochemical industries. This procedure was accomplished in collaboration with the Office of downstream petrochemical Development and National Petrochemical Company’s Public relation. Developing a policy package including 90 strategic actions appropriate with the capacity and needs of this exhibition is one of the results of this study which was presented during and after the exhibition.Considering the importance of participation in the implementation of proposed measures, AMID attended this exhibition as one of members of the exhibition Policy Council.
Training course for management of energy resources and sustainable development with the participation of country’s renewable energy experts Amid Development Management Consultants has planned and held a training course called "Management of energy resources and sustainable development" aiming to promote knowledge of managers and experts in the field of renewable energy, energy policy making and sustainable development, with the presence of experts and scholars in the field of energy, particularly renewable energies.Holding such training courses is the first step toward the formation of comprehensive courses dealing with subjects such as renewable energy (new energy), technological development and evolution of these energies, their growing market, and economic, social and environmental consequence of their application in large scale, and the opportunities and challenges facing this industry.From our perspective, continuing to hold these courses can explain and deepen topics such as: status of technologies related to this area in developed and developing countries, policies and strategies necessary to shape and mature the market of renewable energies and the role of related institutions in this area, policy requirements in achieving sustainable development in the field of energy and describing patterns of planning and management of energy resources in the country. |
